Chambers Executive Travel Ltd is a registered private limited company (16554801) and holds all of the relevant licenses, safeguarding, criminal record checks, and insurances, to carry out private hire taxi work.
We are a professional, reliable and friendly service and cater for everyone from a singular passenger, through to a total of 8 customers. Our drivers have an extensive driving history and are more than happy to talk and to join in with an enjoyable ride for all. They will play music as requested, enjoy a joke with you etc and make the journey as special and comfortable for the customer as possible. We aim to make it memorable, so that you tell people that you know about us. However, and having said this, our drivers have the right to work in a safe environment. Especially given the nature of the work where concentration is required at all times when the vehicle is on the move. To this end, any abusive language in any way shape or form, or inappropriate behaviour, may result in the journey being terminated wherever the driver decides. In most instances, prior warnings will be given before this occurs, but we reserve the right to terminate the journey without any warning. In this case, any payments already made, will not be refunded. This may also result in a report being made to the Police.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. Bank transfer details will be provided on an invoice and a receipt can be sent on request. You will receive a 2nd invoice for the full payment 1 month before your booking. If your booking falls within the same month from making it, full payment will be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance/full payment will then need to be paid in that month leading up to, and including, the day of travel. Please note: For payments on the day, this will need to be made prior to the journey commencing. This will be in the form of cash or using the card machine provided by the driver. There will be no bank transfers on the day. Failure to pay prior to the journey, may result in the journey being cancelled immediately.
Cash payments can be paid on the day of travel, and you will be provided with a handwritten receipt. If you intend to pay with cash on the day, please let us know, so that we can have the receipt ready in advance to save you time when we get to the destination.
Please ensure that the pickup time you have requested is the time that you land back in the UK, and not the time it would be from leaving your location and the hours for the flight, but not taking into account the time zone differences. If this occurs and the driver attends the airport, then any delays due to this will incur standby charges, which will be charged at a fixed hourly rate of £40. If the delay is going to impact another booking, then Chambers Executive Travel Ltd reserve the right to cancel the booking with the delay with immediate effect. If there is any outstanding balance still to pay, then this will still be charged and invoiced for. There will then be a 7-day period where the full payment will be required. If this is not paid, then the matter will be taken to a small claims court. A date will be provided for this deadline. To confirm, this is only if the incorrect pickup time is given by the customer. This is why we ask for communication from the airports, before flying home, for any delays etc.
There will be no charge for the time in waiting for collection of your bags/suitcases etc for correctly given pickup times as we expect these standard delays. Again, we please ask for you to communicate with us when you have landed in the UK.
In the event of an unexpected mechanical breakdown or tyre damage to the vehicle, every effort will be made to get you a replacement vehicle out to the location. However, if the timings do not work for this, your driver will arrange a local taxi or 2 to allow you to continue your journey. This will not be at any extra cost to the customer. The vehicle was bought brand new late in the year of 2025, it is regularly serviced, cleaned, and has a regular MOT despite being a new vehicle. Please take this into account when making the timings for your booking. Chambers Executive Travel LTD cannot be held accountable if a replacement vehicle cannot be arranged for whatever reason, but rest assured that every effort will be made to resolve this.
Please allow for plenty of time. Your driver will not stop for breaks, unless instructed by yourselves to do so. No matter the distance, the driver will keep driving to the destination. A good amount of time needs to be allowed for sudden traffic jams and roadworks etc. Your driver will be using a mapping system that will update them of any accidents/delays on the route which will be discussed with you should they arise.
Chambers Executive Travel Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays in getting to people to their destinations with sudden changes on the road networks. Every effort will be made by your driver to divert to an alternative route; however, this is not always possible when on a motorway/dual carriageway etc. Your driver will always take the quickest and most direct route shown on their mapping system.
Multiple pickup locations may incur further charges depending on the distances between them.
Light refreshments will be provided on the journey. Customers are welcome to bring their own refreshments, including snacks. We understand that we will be regularly carrying families, and we will allow for slight spillages. We just ask that you use the bin or bin bag provided in the back of the vehicle for any general waste. As parents ourselves, we fully understand that children will be children, and we welcome them to travel with us.
Any spillages on the upholstery that require more than standard cleaning will be charged and invoiced to the customer.
There will be an instant charge of £100 for any vomit in the vehicle as this automatically requires a full valet. There will be an instant charge of £200 for any other bodily fluids, for the same reason. Your driver will stop for any comfort breaks that you request, taking into account that this is on your own time. The above costs are to be paid by the customer prior to leaving the vehicle and can be done by using the card machine or cash. If this is not paid immediately, the journey will stop, and the matter will be taken to a small claims court.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, mainly snow showers, every effort will be made to get to the pickup destination and then to the drop off destination. Chambers Executive Travel Ltd cannot be held responsible if this is not possible for any reason. Photos and video evidence will be sent to the customer of the attempts that have been made. Provisions will be in place (food/drink/blankets) should the customer(s) need to stay in the van for long periods of time between the pickup and drop off destination. There will be no extra cost for this if this is the case. The vehicle will be equipped with winter tyres. The deposit will still be non-refundable, however, there will be no further charge if the driver cannot get to the pickup location. Should the vehicle not get to the destination after pickup, then an agreed cost will be arranged with the driver and customer. In the rare event of severe flooding, a different pickup point will be arranged with the customer if we cannot get to the pickup point. If the customer cancels due to any extreme weather, there will no further charges, but the non-refundable deposit remains in place.
Chambers Executive Travel Ltd will do their best to be able to provide the special requests made by the customer. If the exact request cannot be made, then a suitable replacement will be offered. These requests will be at the extra cost to the customer, and we cannot be held accountable for any of the products that have been purchased. Chambers Executive Travel Ltd cannot be held accountable for any allergies, and the products/brand will be discussed with the customer beforehand.
Any damage to the outside or inside of the vehicle, caused by the customer, will be rectified by an approved garage, and then billed to the customer. Should the damage be so severe that the journey cannot continue for any reason (damage to a door / boot / wheel etc), firstly, Chambers Executive Travel Ltd will not be held accountable for the journey not continuing to the destination, and secondly, the customer will be responsible for any vehicle recovery charges incurred too. This payment will be required within 14 days of the invoice being sent and if not paid, the matter will be taken to the small claims courts. A date will be provided for this deadline on the invoice. The vehicle will be checked by the driver before every journey, and they will be more than happy to do an inspection with the customer prior to setting off. Please speak to the driver for this and it will never be refused.
Chambers Executive Travel LTD pride themselves on their great communication. We will be in contact with the customer a few weeks before the journey (but can be contacted by the customer at any time). This is to check all is well to carry on with the booking and to also get any flight numbers / ferry bookings etc for the return journey. We ask that the customers let us know of any significant delays on return journeys from countries abroad. The most effective way for this would to be a phone call or a text/whatsapp message as it will be seen quicker than an email. We also politely request a message from the customer to say that all is well and the flights etc are on time. However, this is not compulsory, and the driver will be at the pickup point within plenty of time and will be monitoring the flight numbers etc.

Any illegal activity or suspected illegal activity will be reported directly to the Police. Should the driver believe that the vehicle is being used for anything or in any way that would constitute to a criminal offence, the journey will be terminated wherever the vehicle is at the time, and the Police will again be informed. In this case, any payments already made, will not be refunded.
Should our driver be delayed for any longer than a 15-minute arrival on the way to collect a customer, for any reason, contact will be made immediately via the telephone. However,Chambers Executive Travel Ltd pride themselves on their timing and punctuality and will aim to be at the destinations within plenty of time anyway.

Any instances of non-payment will be taken to the small claims court.
